The very handsome Stanley

HI there folksies. It's beeen a long time between posts, we havent been any specials. So just ot keep smiles on you faces here is pictures of our most handsome friend. Tra tra (drumroll) Stanley the Bedlington. He is so super cute that Scarlett our girl-mum scooped him upsky in the park and tried to cuddle him like a baby. Well you would, wouldn't you. It takes a lot of doing to rival us in the cute/glamour stakes but when Stanley had a haircut we knew we would have to up our game. Diamonte? Roses behind our ears? Next week we are goign to Chesil beach to look at something called fossils. Muppet said are they like squirrels? She is very excited. Will keep you posted.

A Jolly day out in Ramsgate

What a jolly day. First sign of sun and we were off to Ramsgate. We filled our bellies aplenty at Churchill's tavern. Fantastic home made burgers, and a view out of the window over Ramsgate harbour. Here we are outside the tavern, full up and ready to rock up to the beach. Look at the harbour, there was some right grand boats in there. Here is a picture of humum's mum Joanie, friend Brenda, and sister Jeanie on the self- same promanade, but in August 1950. They were off to the pavillion to Jive with the American soldiers. Naughty girls. We ran our skinnydogs legs all the ways to the beach, and we went allowed on. Bet it wern't like that in 1947 when this photo of Joanie, her dad Alf, Mum Daisy adn sister Jeanie was taken, They had a blue roan cocker spanial called Bimbo and he had just popped off to get the ice-creams in when this was taken. We visited our friend in Van Gogh's house in Ramsgate, and partook of tea. Joanie's auntie Margie still lives in the house Van Gogh stayed at in Brixton, but thats another story.

Scary stuff

Here we go again. Me and Muppet trolley off down to The Pilot, cos we forgot the pictures last time. We came over all 'chim chimeny chim chimeny' when we saw a Pearly King Cab outside. Decorative or what. Then we met the Man 'imslf. We were gonna photo him but we had no money in our pocketsies. We ate big that day- Roastie dinners. Yum. It was our humums Birthday, so we perambulated along the Thames. We like the Picture of pointy shoes worn in the early days, and wondered if whippets had pointy velvet covers for their noses. Praps not. Emmy got all whippet arsed shivery when she saw the place at Bugsby way where they use to hang folk, until three tides washed over 'em. Nasty.
