Emmy gets into squirrel mode when she spies a pesky squirrel by the park wall. She may be one of the fastest whippets in the park but I think she gave this squirrel too much of a start. Squirrel survived! One nil to the squirrels.

Chilly day at One Tree Hill

Emmylou whippet was very thankful that Mum made her put her coat on this morning. She stopped for us to catch up at One Tree Hill overlooking Greenwich and the City.

Emmy and Muppet were very proud of the new hat that they had made for Mum. It took weeks of hunting and two weeks at a stitch and bitch workshop to create Mum's new winter squirrel hat.

Literary Whippets

Emmy and Muppet decided to become a little more well read this week. They thought by visiting the Old Curiosity Shop that their literary education might be improved. (Muppet still likes OK magazine though, as she feels she is a bit of a star)

Emmy and Muppet enjoy viewing the graffiti by their favourite skate shop. They can't resist running faster than the speed skaters in the park.

Emmy and Muppet decided that as Sunday was such a lovely day they would go to Covent Garden to check out the shops. Had to wait outside a bit as muvver went shopping, got lots of strokes whilst waiting.

Emmy goes to Hoxton with Scarlett

Emmy decided to go to Hoxton for lunch with Scarlett this afternoon. She travelled on trains and buses and even stopped for a photo op on London Bridge. Emmy had quite a few admiring glances on her travels but is now pleased to be home, rather tired, and has taken herself off to her rightful place on the sofa for the evening.

Muppet the skinny beige whippet lost her head today in Greenwich Park whilst squirreling.

Gremlins

Muppet found some of the dancing on "Strictly" hysterical, she says she does a mean "pasa doble" and pulled a gremlin face to prove it.

Muppet wears out six dogs in one morning

Muppet, the skinny beige whippet who thinks she is the fastest whippet in London did a great job of exercising six slightly overweight dogs in Greenwich Park this morning. After sucessfully wearing them all out she rejoined her housemate Emmylou to play the age old game of who can run the fastest with a stick.

Emmy annoys sweet chestnut pickers

Emmylou the fastest whippet in Greenwich Park spent an enjoyable morning trying to steal what she thought was picnic food from the poor scared people collecting sweet chestnuts in the park today. Emmy at full speed skidded to a halt at each group of people and tried to stick her nose in their bags. I've realised that not all people like thieving skinny dogs, so for the next couple of weeks I'll expect a bit of abuse from the nut gatherers of Greenwich Park.
